ok so ive been playing guitar for a while and what not but you could say i taught myself i dont play a very techinacal style more or less a free base mix of bass and guitar.

Started on bass and i would like to know if anyone knows of a website that has videos on it with guitar lessons or just chord demonstrations?

If so that would be very helpful thank you

Youtube has a bunch of on-line tutorials. Don't play guitar, so I don't know if they would be helpful. Good luck.

I don't know of any web sites...
Try the different Guitar mags web sites they may have their CD rom lessons online...

Your screen name implies metal; so I will say say, a hybrid of bass and guitar is the main stay of metal guitar playing, lots of open string pedals intermixed with power chords... Its soloing that takes work, I'd scour E-bay for instructional DVD's and books.

Bassists switching to guitar a lot of times have a leg up on therory (learning what notes work under which chord)
Its muscle memory you need to work on... That takes repetition....

I don't know first-hand, but maybe look at some manufacturers sites for links.

Give this one a try... http://www.looknohands.com/chordhouse/ It's not videos but it's a site that has an automated chart for chords and scales both...just click the guide for what you want and the chord/scale pops up in tab form...They have an easy room and an advanced room and also have piano chords. Man I've been playing and teaching for over 15 years now and I've never seen such a useful tool...even for us wise old veterans...lol...Hope it helps you......later

www.justinguitar.com It's totally free. He wants people to donate, but says if you can't afford it, don't worry about it. He explains a lot. Friendinneed56M mentioned Ultimate-guitar- that's a great site. Power tab is a free program to download, but Guitar Pro isn't. Guitar Pro is a 30 day trail. I have like over 1,000 guitar tabs on my computer. All the files are really small. Msg me and I'll tell you where I got them from. They are legal. Jamorama is decent also. It's like 30 or 40 bucks. Video-tabs.com. Someone might have already mentioned that, I kinda just scanned through everyone's comments.
