If I come across as a little "b i t c h y", I apologize. Frustration can do that to you. I'm just so tired of each and ever day being the same as the day before. I swear, my life could the remake of "Groundhog Day".

And honestly? Nothing ever does change. I repeat the same routine Monday-Friday, and every weekend is a duplicate of the last.

I don't know how or when I got stuck in this rut, and I can't really find a way out. I've searched for the answers, and just end up banging my head against the wall.

Granted, a couple of months ago, there was quite a change in my life, but now that that's settled down, I'm back to the same thing, day in/day out. There has to be some way to mix it up a little, don't you think?

Insanity IS doing the same thing over and over... each time expecting different results.

You have it in yourself to change the rut you are in...

Just be careful not to let your wheels dig in again lol....

Kind of like watching a sad movie for the 10th time hoping this time it ends differently..

Your life can't get mixed up a little until you decide to start mixing it.... then you can decide whether it has been mixed enough.......or needs more.....

It's your life..don't like it...Do something about it...

Must be the season for ruts as I find myself in one too but knowing this and doing something about it are two different things and all it takes is one little change (Brit).

Ok Chaos prescription from da chaos doc.

First.. sleep on the other side of the bed tonight. Get out on the side you usually don't. If your bed is up against the wall then just try getting out at the other end of the bed or sleeping with your feet at the pillow end.

Then when you hit the shower.. wash your feet first.. do it all backwards. If you usually take cream with your coffee, try it with a scoop of icecream instead.

Break your own habits and see how life starts changing. Yeah I'm serious.. Have a contrary day.. best on a weekend when you don't have to do a job that has to be done a certain way. Give it a shot.. what have you got to lose but a bit of boredom?

I love Groundhog Day! And what Nachos said, go to work via a different route or something, you might see something new and interesting.

Do something on the weekend you don't normally do...like take a walk in a park (dress warm!) or read a book in a bubble bath.
When I'm in a rut, I go horseback riding...but since it was too cold today to do that...I went to the mall and tried on pretty dresses!
