This is why my husband and I have decided to get the playstation 3 instead of the Wii... LOL... I know my boys and I see it going bad if we got it.

All of us from kids from 25 to 60 had a blast playing with that thing over New Years. We particularly enjoyed the bowling and golf. It is a damned expensive toy!
As for the video, well, what dumb ass would give a kid a wooden or aluminum bat to swing in the house.

BTW, on the bowling, some of the people were in a league, I mean a real bowling league. You don't use a bowling ball in Wii, but we all found it amazing in how it worked and the people's average on Wii was in line with their averages at the bowling alley.

It's a good thing he only broke the glass covering the shelving on the side of the TV cabinet, instead of the screen of the TV. I'm sure Mom would have freaked out if that had been the case. Still...he should have worn the strap.

They make wrist straps for this reason. It's moms fault for not beating that kid in the head with the wii sports bat until he put it on. I've lost my wiimote from my hand before, but I had my wrist strap on. It's not hard to avoid an accident...
