Most of you are unaware I imagine, of a extremely critical situation all bees on the planet are going thru in every corner of the world. There is this horrible virus that is killing millions of our precious little friends, the bees. It is called CDC. For the last roughly 30 years all over the world bees have been wiped out by CDC. CDC is Colony Collaspe Disorder.

It is estimated that by the year 2035 ALL BEES on this planet will be gone unless a cure is found. Bees spread polin from one flower to another, which basically equals 1/3 of what we eat in fruits & veggies, not to mention all the beautiful flowers we see and take for granted all the time.

This is not a joke. This is very real and happening as you read this blog. If something is not done Very Soon bees will be extinct. In a chinese providence farmers have to actually polinate crops every spring to have their crops bloom. It is exhausting and very expensive. It was the result of them using poisons to kill other insects ( harmfull ones ) but they wound up killing off all the bees in their providence.

You might think the year 2035 is far off...Trust me it is not! Your kids & mine & their kids will suffer extremely if the bees are extinct. Most people have no clue how important bees are and especially how easily they make a very difficult job ( polination of crops ) seem like a walk in the park.

If you care even a little bit about bees, the next time you see one say a prayer for them and their sisters. If CDC is not stopped, this world will be out 1/3 of a food source for all human beings. Gruel will be the only food we will have to eat to stay alive.

Again, this is NOT A JOKE. We must use our great numbers to try to help in any way we can to insure that bees will not become extinct. The year 2035 is a lot closer than you think before all the bees might very well be gone forever.

As my father is a beekeeper, I know your lament. I think part of the problem lies with the bee farms - those that truck bees around the US pollinating crops instead of having permanent hives near the fields. Moving across the country with infected bees is a sure way to spread the disease. I know it is more profitable for the owners, but the loss of these wonderful insects that help to provide our food....

Wow, very informative for the ignorant (of which I am one). Of course I knew about bees polinating, but had no clue they were in danger of being extinct. Thanks!!

Yeah, they are working hard on a cure for this virus for the poor buzzy things.

I do differ on the opinion that there will be no vegitation on the planet.. not all plants depend on bees to pollinate.. and besides. if they all die they will hire (farmworkers of your choice) with feathers to do the pollinating. Means certain products will be more expensive than gold but what the hell.
