Some people see things in life as purely black or white, no in between. Some see only shades of grey with no definite to either direction. But there are those who are lucky enough to be able to really look at things before making rash decisions or judging. We don't always agree with how others see things, nor they , us. But that doesn't make either of us necessarily bad or even wrong. Sometimes there is no actual right or wrong. There is just perception and choices from there. At times we decide to remove ourselves completely from the equation, knowing we can not save the world. Sometimes not even a part of our own. Regardless of how we see things, we should always remain true to ourself and enjoy the hell out of living. We only get to do it once and when that is done, we should have as little regrets as possible. We can't change our yesterdays, but we can ruin today with fears of tomorrow and allowing others actions to control our thoughts.

We can't change our yesterdays, but we can ruin today with fears of tomorrow and allowing others actions to control our thoughts. When ambiguity rules one is free to take liberties apologies in advance for commandeering you comments to go off on a damn fool idealistic crusade...
I have been away from AMD fighting the good fight against the right wing conservative bloggers on the internet. I came to realize that all the war mongering on the right was done out of fear. Our government and media have whipped everyone up into such a frenzied panic that we abdicate common sense and rational thought out of fear of another 9/11 attack.
My ongoing battles against douchebaggery lead to my remonstrations against Duh-Duh-Dubbya, our criminal-in-chief and the great conservative bloggers elsewhere on the web. I now find it unfortunate that these great “conservative thinkers” refuse to even acknowledge my thoughts anymore, as they can not refute me…
So why am I back, much to other’s chagrin? How come all you do is start shit? I am here because I choose to be, the same reason I do most things in life, I choose to do them. We all make choices, some of us just rationalize them, I just accept them as choices I make.
Starting trouble or stirring up shit is relative, just like time…
To some I’m being the big meanie, yet they fail to realize their own actions are themselves less then honorable. It is a matter of perspective. Life holds few absolutes, black and white are merely just disguised shades of gray. The jester and the wise man are but disguises too, and they can switch roles on occasion. One group of nazis swapping places for another, one clique replaces another, is not progress...

Regardless of how we see things, we should always remain true to ourself and enjoy the hell out of living. We only get to do it once and when that is done, we should have as little regrets as possible. That is a good lesson that took me a long time to learn, but it is the one thing I do faithfully now.........be true with myself and honest with others.

You are always free to change your mind and choose a different future, or a different past. Richard Bach No, you can't change the past, but you can change your perception of it and what you allow it to control in the future.

Life holds few absolutes, black and white are merely just disguised shades of gray. Life may hold few absolutes but, it all falls into ones perception as to actual black and white verses greys.
The jester and the wise man are but disguises too, and they can switch roles on occasion. Yes, they can switch, but with some you never know if they are switching disguises or they truly don't know from day to day who they truly are, or which disguise to wear.
One group of nazis swapping places for another, one clique replaces another, is not progress... I, for the most part agree with you on this, however I mean that in eeryday life and in general. Nothing I wrote about this morning had anything to AMD or anyone on here. As it was titled it was just "scattered thoughts" having to do with things going on in my personal life. Contrary to popular belief many of us do have those also.
but you can change your perception of it and what you allow it to control in the future. How very true, Sam. I have done that with many things in my past. And it helps me to have a better day today. My past is my past and I chose it to live there, not allowing it to control today.
