	The default is that the owner of the blog has to approve the comment. It can be set so that friends can post immediately, so that any comments appear immediately, or so that no comment appear immediately. If the person who writes the blog isn't online or doesn't approve the comment, the default setting is that it won't appear.

	Ditto what the lady said, plus some guys are too (whatever) to approve comments from other guys.... go figure
