Since we are the only ones that get periods unless there are some men out there not telling us something

Anyway.... I been reading all the different literature and getting conflicting reports and was seeking advice on here.

I have a normal 28 day cycle and just got over my "Aunt flow" on Nov 24 and had sex two days later and the guy came inside.

Can I get pregnant?

I thought if you had sex right after you had your period you were "safe" but people are telling me this is when I am most fertile.... help!

Robert Zurawin, obstetrician and fertility specialist"

It's possible but not very likely. Ovulation occurs around the middle of a woman's cycle (specifically, in the middle third): If you have a 28-day cycle, for example, then you'll usually ovulate on the 14th day, counting the first day of your period as the first day of your cycle. If your period lasts seven or eight days, by the time you finish menstruating you're only five or six days away from ovulating. If you consider that sperm can live in the fallopian tube for two or three days, then you have a narrow window in which you could get pregnant if you ovulated a little earlier than normal. If you're not actively trying to get pregnant, it's always safer to use reliable contraception when you have sex, no matter when in it is during your cycle.

I am not sure exactly when the most fertile time is tho i believe its somewhere between 7 and 14 days...........but you can get pregnant anytime if you are ovalating......doesnt matter you can even get pregnant during your monthly cycle..........i would suggest if you dont want to get pregnant get some form of birth control........there are tons of different kinds on the market........but to answer your question........Yes you can get pregnant..........

You are more than likely safe, but you can get pregnant anytime, truth be told. I got pregnant having sex on my period once!!!

Generally speaking, you ovulate somewhere between 10 and 14 days after the first day of your period, but your body can do odd things at times.

There is a term for people who don't use contraception.

Parents.

There isn't any time you can't get pregnant even using birth control. I'm proof of that.
If you want to take your temp everyday it will tell you when your ovulating. It will drop so if you really want to get pregnant go for it when it happens

Could be wrong on this, but it varies from woman to woman...I just check my temperature. If I feel the hottest during my period ,I know I'm ovulating and take necessary protection.I don't know, its just best to have contraception around at all times.

Girl, girl...you can get pregnant ANY time!! That damn little sperm can float around in there for a while until he finds the right bitch he wants, then BAM...dirty diapers.

Never trust unprotected sex.

Chances of you being preg are very slim, but the morning after pill will work for up to 5 days later,
