If you were an observer, you could figure out how much I enjoyed a movie by watching how long I sat through the credits at the end of a movie. For Lions and Lambs I sat through nearly the whole thing. I thought to myself, as I walked to the car, that I should definitely share this finding with others.
A couple people I've talked to who hadn't seen the movie were under the impression that the movie was full of liberal propaganda, and, inasmuch as you can trust the word of someone with republican tendencies, it was far from it. I thought it was very tastefully done. (Of course, with Robert Redford directing how could it not be?) While it doesn't have a 'support the troops' message, the message I took away from it is a far more poignant one.
I won't elaborate on the plot as I'm sure you can google or fandango and satisfy your curiosity if you so desire.
Go see it!
