I want to thank everyone would responded to my blog yesterday. Later on in the day I spoke with several former associates of mine. They pretty much said the same thing that my friends here did. So after much consideration i decided not to take the job offer in Iraq.

I thought about it a little more and even went a step further I called my present employer. Informing them that after 28 loyal yrs. I was going to retire effective the end of Dec. this year. What brought this on was a call I received from my brother in Atlanta. He told me that I was going to be given the chance to sign with a literary agent there. I have been writing off and on for a long time now, and have several screenplays already finished.

Maybe one day I will share my latest brainchild with you which involves an Internet dating site. Seriously I want all my friends here to know how much I appreciate their concern for my well being. You guys are the best...you know who you are so this is for you.
