the air is crisp and a slight breeze is blowing ..... smells of autumn fill the air , hay rides are scheduled for this weekend, along with marshmellow roasts and treats galore...... I simply love t his time of year, love warm soup,hot sandwiches, cozy sweaters,even the scarey movies , carrie is playing on tv tonight, nothing better than a fright night....

It all sounds too good... Them good old days are over for me, have been for a long time... Its all work and no play  ... Dont know how it feels to socialize and enjoy some free time  ... Cant find time for anything having to work 90 hours a week...

Well, tonight and tomorrow morning, I will be chatting with my sweety in the midwest states, enjoying every moment we can spend together, as Saturday is my only day off!! So other than that, I am going to clean house, do laundry, perhaps read a book, some crocheting, and then I work Sunday - Friday again!! I have to cherish my Saturdays!! Have a good weekend hun!

a few years ago I was out on a fall morning at about 3am. had my telescope out, checking the moon, planets, etc, my dog asleep next to me on the ground. All my attention was in the eyepeice, just star-hoping when about 50ft behind me a deer stomps and snorts, stopping my heart and scaring me out of my boots, lol. It stood there several minutes just "biotching" at me. in the moonlight i could see it was the large doe that came to my yard a lot, had several sets of twins around, too. I nudged Max with my foot (still asleep) to wake him, he got up and chased her away. Now they ignore me, mostly. If I'm quiet there can be 10-15 deer passing me, grazing. I'd be out there now if not for the mud and standing water from recent rain.
