Knowing What You Know Now....

There are lots of times we hear someone say, What I'd give to be that age again, and know what I know now.".

Well that thought might have some good points to it. But would you really go back knowing what you know now? Or was it just better learning as you went? If you could go back ---and for the moment let's disregard that anything in our lives would change because of it, just fantasy thinking for a moment--- and not know what you know now, would you do it? And what age would that be? Or do you like being where you are now? Who you are now?

Everyone have a great Friday. Cause it's right now and you don't get another chance at today.

If I had a chance to do it all again? I would go back to about age 20 and if I knew then what I knew now I would have made a lot of different choices. I would developed different interests and habbits certainly. I would have spent less time dreaming and more time trying to turn my dreams into a reality I could be happy with.

I would go back to the age 14 because the decisions or lack of the right decisions from that moment what formed my adult life.........but since I can't relieve the past I just try to make the right decisions for today.

Good Blog............dont you have some cooking to do?

Knowing what I know now, I would have gone straight to college right after high school and gotten my master's. Of course, back then, I had no idea what I wanted to study. I would have also saved more money and put it away for a rainy day.

But, hey! I'm going to win the lottery, quit my job, go back to school and get that maser's degree. And, have money in the bank to boot!

I'd go back to about 19, maybe if I had know what it took to make a healthy relationship my marriage would of lasted and that was the turning point in my life for some not great events.

Cooking? Whats for dinner and are you making enough for everyone?

Well like my friends above me I would go to the age of 11 and not pick up a cigerette. Then I would have paid more attention in school and went to college afterwards instead of waiting as long as I did Guess those would be the only things I'd change green thingie to you CL don't tell dayna

I agree also with not picking up a cigarette, So I'd go back to 14, and study harder, get better grades and not goof off as much.

I don't think I would change anything. The experiences I have had the pleasure of knowing in life are what made mw the man I am today. When I look in the mirror I have no regrets, and every little thing I have endured has brought me to that point.

Success and tragedy I believe form an individual into being unique. The bottom line is without the bitter I would never know thw sweet.

I think that I would have omitted one portion of my life between ages 19-25, it was a VERY rough time and could have been more productive in my life. I think the person I am now is pretty decent in most ways. Would probably have liked to start a family before now, but.... such is life, and I still have a long ways to go!!! Great Friday back at you!!! Live everyday as though it were your last!!

Isn't it funny how the grass is always greener on the other side?
My initial reaction was "I'd have spent less time studying and more time having fun."

After further thought, I really wouldn't go back simply because I'm happy and content with who I am now, and even though it was often difficult, frustrating, and challenging, it was all those things that made me me. If I went back and tried to make things "better" for the young me, I would most likely avoid the things that made me who I am now.

And if I wasn't really careful, I could accidentally make it so I was never born...

I would go back to my college years and change 2 major decisions that led to my non-life so far.

Oct 26 @ 10:34AM
I would not want to go back, who am today was because of what I was in the past.

Oct 26 @ 10:37AM
Nope, cuz if I had made different choices, done different things I wouldn't be who I am now.. and doggone it.. I kinda like me.

Oct 26 @ 11:03AM
If I could go back? I would go back to my 20's..would I change anything? Nope....what I did back then is part of what made me today....and I like who I am. I wouldn't change anything.

Knowing what I know now, the only thing that'd do for me is to use better sense and take care of my temple. Your body is all you got and you only get one. Also do relationships over the right way instead of stepping on them the way I did. So yes I'd go back and do it right instead of the way I did it!

If I could not change things ? I would rather be where I am now.

Oct 26 @ 1:07PM
I might go back, not sure, cuz if I went back and redid some things, I wouldn't have the great kids I have today, and I'm kinda attached to them

Oct 26 @ 1:22PM
Some things in my life certainly need redoing .... however if I did that then it would change who and where I am now, so all in all except for a few bad health habits, I think I am fine where I am .....

Oct 26 @ 6:47PM
Even though 17 was my best age where I had the most fun so far in life for a number of reasons I would go back to the age of 19.
