Didnt you know that being bi makes a woman hot and sensual. Being bi or even bi curious makes a man much less of a man.
Just ask any guy he will tell you. Ask any woman and she will tell you what a load of shit.

I wouldn't know, but I'd guess it's because of our cultures' ignorances or justifications. I'd lean more toward the former.

I don't want to see my mate with another man, nor do I want to be with another woman.

Coming from having been in a macho culture for so long; I'll tell you the reason for it.
When other men in a macho culture like the one that I used to be in for 8 years see or find out that a man is gay; He becomes the subject of attack. It is viewed as a defect in a man that I'm really sorry to say has cost many gay men their lives. That's why in my years as a Marine; They would do whatever they could to conceal the sexual preference of that Marine or if that didn't happen; They would remove the Marine from the command and keep him in a place that his safety was better ensured untill that Marine was quietly discharged. They do that for a reason. That reason is that when the other Male Marines find out that a Marine is gay: The clock starts ticking on his life/physical well being. It's not a pretty picture.
Older and more mature men are more capable of being rational and not acting out of anger towards a gay or bi sexual man. With a young macho culture; You don't want to be the member of that culture that shows the rest a "defect" like that. I call it a preference but; For all intensive purposes it's a defect in a macho culture.

Oh, please. Unless you have an "open" relationship, anyone; female or male, will hide if from their... mate... if they want to try something on the side.
I know a couple guys who are gay from the get go, but I don't know of one guy who is bi-curious. Especially me. And no "methinks psychobabble".
I love women. (as often as possible)

Hmmmm... Interesting question. My opinion? Society views gay men as "feminate" and it takes away their MANHOOD, therefore why would it be ok? if you are a manly guy, you are NOT going to admit that you have those thoughts... In general.
I have a friend who is very "manly" in the general respect. He loves women, loves sex, he's married. BUT he very much wants to try sex with a guy.. Except..... how do you find someone willing to discreetly? Because yep. you don't want to admit it.
It's the same thing with a lot of things. Society has expectations and puts people in their holes.
And not all guys want to see two women together. 85% do..
