Ok, so after a couple of negetive blogs, its time for a happy one.

I received perhaps the coolest thing a man/father can get. Being a single father has its own unique ups and downs. But there are times when it all comes together and forms a perfect union and makes it all worth it. I am a father of a teenage daughter. (some of you already know this). As some will know, teenagers are at that point in life when they pull away from the childhood, "my parents are gods" persona. They spend less and less time being a child and more time trying to be mature adults. For parents, its simular to loosing your favorite hat. You'll get by, but you just don't want to.

So, what was it that I got. I got a note from my kid. She wrote it in class. Ya know, just like the ones she writes to her friends. You have to let that sink in just a tad. I, for a brief moment in time, was equal to her friends. Whoooooooo HOooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How cool is that????

Once I read it, I told her that I had to share it in a blog. Because it was just soooo cool. She didn't object, soooo I'm going to share with you "the note".

never thought I would see the day when I wrote you a note. haha. Well here goes. I am just-a-sittin here in math class. I have already learned this material, so I'm good. :] I'm really happy about *****. (*****, is a girl she had issues with and resolved herself). Justin told me about ******** this morning. (********, was Justin' gf) as predicted. lol. Everytime I write lol, I think it says one-zero-one. my tummy hurts. "/ o well.
Estoy cansada cuando yo en la clase de mathmaticas. haha for spanish. omg....I hate school. I " highly dislike" my bulldog 101 teacher.(thats homeroom) Stacey is in that class, which is kewl. I cannot wait for my bigg 16th! even if I don't have a partayy, I know I'll have funn. We should have a cake fight. lmao. that would be fantabulous! I should write you notes more often. okie dokie, well I'm gonna go. love you. Cya soon.

I omitted some names that aren't common names and added back story to some. But this is "The" note as she wrote it. I had to pick on her for how quick she would change thoughts. Also, she is taking Spanish as a second language, hense the spanish in the note.
