A real man is secure enough to be himself, without all the bullshit, secure enough to talk about anything and everything and accept his lady for her own opinions and for who she really is. A real man is strong enough to know fighting to make a relationship stronger is easier than finding a different pasture to graze in. A real man admits when he's wrong and says he sorry (and is genuine about it) knowing it makes him more of a man in our eyes not less. Honest, because he'll want a strong women and us strong women can deal with anything as long as we know about it and have the ability to make our own choices. If he lies he takes away our choice. A real man won't manipulate his woman.
A real man is all the other things the ladies have already mentioned.

I agree with most responses and Maggiemae, nice job, however I think a lot of women need to take a really good look at themselves and ask "Am I am real woman? Can I handle the every day ups and downs on my own, can I cry and still not be weak, can I feel for those in need and not be selfish? these are just some of the things I would ask myself before I would say what a real man is and if I could answer those questions with true honesty in my heart, then YES, I could say with conviction what I consider a real man, a man of substance, one that would stand beside me not behind me or in front of, one that would love me NO matter what..skinny, fat, ugly, pretty, or any OTHER way "I" may be feeling that day cause I am sure they go through their own insecurities and that is when WE need to be there for them. And most importantly DONT tell me what I want to hear, tell me what YOU think and I will always do the same................I always say HONESTY is always KEY!!...Oh and good looking, tall, nice smile and eyes would be nice.................Oh and Penis, know how to use it along with that tongue you own.............

Kindness, Sincerity, Honesty, Hard Worker..............knowing enough to make me feel smarter without being condesending. Humble enough to allow himself to be taught something by me, without offense. Thank you,LFE that was basically what I was thinking,and to add some of my own: A provider,unselfish,would lay down his life for his spouse/partner/best girl,friend,family or even his enemy;keeps his promises,is a teacher and allows himself to be taught and admits when he is wrong.
These aren't related to ethics/morals but still good:appreciates the beauty in nature,appreciates arts and culture,takes care of himself,is youthful,intelligent and fun to be with...oh,and a tongue and cock that won't quit.I had to bring it up.
