WHY do I have dogs????????????????? I asked myself this today after getting home from work and finding my house a mess!

They got into the cats food....again! They had the cushions to the couch on the floor. And...they got into the cat's litter box...ugggggggg!!!!! That was disgusting!

I've been home a few hours now...and here they are...all laying down, if they didn't have my house looking trashed when I got home from work....little jerks!!!!
(yeah yeah sis De...I horses dammit! lmao). that I got that off my chest...I feel better.

they are just looking for attention

Over the years I have found they have temper tantrums.
Every time I go someplace for a gog will get
just one thing of mine and chew it up, to get even. When
I stay home they are as good as gold.

I have a parrot, he is a hoot. Yes, pot-tie train to. He has to speak english before he gets anything from me. Smart bird.

I know they're throwing the occasional tantrum..but thankfully they haven't chewed something of mine.

And yes, when I'm home..they behave. Brats! Gotta love em.

Gotta luv em!

Mine out grew all of the bad behavior thankfully though they tore up the house and furniture as pups and youths. Best way toi keep them out of the kitty litter box is to get rid of kitty. Some how, I feel that the cat stayed under the bed all day, and wisely so!.

yea mine too. the little guy chewed up half a carton of smokes one day. (thats about 20 bucks here in michigan). but i love the cute little shitmaker.

Crate training works wonders

They will guard your house.

I've always crate trained my dogs and it works wonderfully......if it is not used to other words if you don't leave your dog in in 23 out of 24hr a day....and there ARE people on here who would think that is OK....they use the pound for animal dumping grounds, too.
IF I lived closer I'd come and get your dogs crate trained in a week. It's not hard at all! Most PetSmarts or Pet Cos have classes in crating. they aren't expensive....the crates or the classes. I have seen books and articles on the internet too.
Your doggums are just bored kids....and when Mom's away....they are gonna PLAY~~in their goofy doggums (or horseums) ways.

two of my dogs were always innocent, but I had one that would rip the house apart the moment you left...... he was soo, sooo BAD!!! But he was my kids, and I kept him for many years..... God rest his little soul now!!

its those darn puppy dog eyes they look up at you the head cocks sideways and you melt........

Yeah, my Molly dog has a trash issue, so when we are not at home they are in their wire kennel. It's got blankets and stuff over it to make a dark and 'safe' cave for them. they actually get excited now when you say kennel. Mostly because they get a doggie treat when you put them in I think.. but anyway.. yeah, as long as you aren't using it to keep the animals in all the time, and do pay attention to them when you are home they don't mind being kenneled or crated. it's a safety thing for them.

That's pets for ya. My cats are almost as bad.
