Children. No matter how bummy I'm feeling, or how torn up I am inside, the little hands, and the wide eyes, yet untouched by the craziness in this world, ALWAYS make me stop, and smile.
They notice it, and I've yet to come across a child, boy or girl, who didn't smile, because I stopped and smiled.
it's one of my very few joys, in this life.

Here is my favorite fart story and a good example of men being silly. This was originally a comment on one of Holly's blogs (the subject was farts) about three months ago or so.
When I was in basic training in the USAF, we finally got to that point where it was easier and we got some privileges like getting to smoke and visit the BX. That evening after greasy meal, this guy strolled through the aisle of the dorm in his underwear, stopped, pulled down his drawers, flicked his Bic as he farted and a small flame shot out.
Well, monkey see/monkey do. Soon, several guys were doing it. We had this one guy in his early twenties that was a bear of a man. He was big boned and burly. He was already going bald but had hair everywhere else. You know, the guy whose beard runs down to the hair on his chest with no break. Well, he had acquired a reputation for clearing a room. When he was ready for his turn with the lighter, he let it rip. It was long and loud. You would have thought there was a dragon shoved up his ass due to the blowtorch flame.
Almost immediately, over the laughter, our nostrils were filled with horrid stench of burning hair. He caught the hair on his ass on fire. Shortly thereafter the blisters came up. He had to go to the infirmary and got sent back two weeks in basic training for damaging government property.

As an older guy, those ole' TV comedy roasts ( Dean Martin et al)....they bust my gut 
Puppies and kittens playing tickle me....
Being with people you care about and able to share a laugh, a story, a joke...can make me laugh
