After reading Lisa's blog on here she gave me an idea for this topic. Over the years I have known a lot of women to prefer the younger Elvis because of the sex appeal. I know others prefer the older version of Elvis himself because of the strong character with the high energy level in the jumpsuit with long sideburns. I'm not too much of an Elvis fan, but he did have very good songs and the ability to entertain millions of people. Yes, he is a legend. I enjoy watching the classic Elvis, the older one in the jumpsuit. I think most guys do too. I have seen most women prefer the young sexy Elvis. So let's put this to a poll.....Do you like the younger Elvis, or the older classic Elvis, and the reason for it?

I Loved his music all my life. My mother was an avid Elvis fan, so I kind of took after her in that respect.
I always loved his music, his voice was phenomenal, gives me shivers to this day just listening to him.
As far as sex appeal, he was a good looking man, very sexy in his era. I was never one to *swoon* over any man. So I guess I never really looked at the man, but enjoyed his music.!!!
Good Blog hon!!!!

Interesting fact about Elvis, he was a republican and thought a lot of Nixon so much that he had met with him for a photo opt. He also didn't care much for The Beattles.

I be Tammy,
As if you didn't know that
As far as his music goes I like most of it. Young and Old. I really don't care for his movies. Except for the one called Elvis and Me..The story of him and Priscilla. I would not say I am a fan of his. I own one cd of his I think? He had a excellent voice.

Straddle, I will take the King anyway I can get him. Well all except the last 12-14 months of his life. Now that was sad to watch. His health, his voice all going and not for any good reason.
I saw him live when I was just a small child and my Dad took me to a corner tavern in downtown St.Louis where he and his group were playing (in those days corner taverns were more of a family affair). As an adult I saw him live several times. He was great.
I hope the Lindsay's and Paris's of today take special note of his life and his ending.

Young Elvis by far...... he just had such gorgeous eyes and I am such a sucker for gorgeous eyes.. Gets me in trouble every time......
AND I have to agree with the girls ~ he was in better shape and not so overweight (he just seemed bloated almost in his older years) and being bloated like that is kinda like being pregnant.... NO THANKS ~ been there done that ...not goin back!

Well.... Younger Elvis makes me want to grab him and throw him on the bed and love him tender all damn night long! Older Elvis makes me want to make him change his awful lifestyle habits - get rid of the pills, the junkfood and the flunkies. Still, gotta love those jumpsuits! There's my two cents.
