There was a blind girl who hated herself Just because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, She would marry her boyfriend.
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. She was then able to see everything, Including her boyfriend.
Her boyfriend asked her, " Now that you can see the world, Will you marry me?" The girl was shocked when she saw That her boyfriend was blind. She then refused to marry him.
Her boyfriend walked away in tears And later wrote a letter to her saying: "Just take care of my eyes dear, For I loved you so much That it was I who was the donor of your gift."
This is how the human brain changes When our status changes. Only few remember what life was before, And who's always been there Even in the most painful situations.
"Life Is A Gift"
Today before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak.
Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat.
Before you complain about your boyfriend, girlfriend, or spouse - Think of someone who's crying out to GOD For a companion.
Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who went too early to heaven.
Before you complain about your children - Think of someone who desires children But they're barren.
Before you argue about your dirty house Someone didn't clean or sweep - Think of the people who are living in the streets.
Before whining about the distance you drive - Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.
And when you are tired And complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled, And those who wish they had your job.
But before you think of pointing the finger Or condemning another - Remember that not one of us are without sin And we all answer to one MAKER.
And when depressing thoughts Seem to get you down - Put a smile on your face And thank GOD you're alive and still around.
Life is a gift, Live it, Enjoy it, Celebrate it, And Fulfill it. Now don't ya think you could brighten up our life and someone else's today?

I like the message to be grateful for what you have. I worry that some would misconstrue it to mean that you should be content and not complain or want something more or better for you or someone else. I'm of course talking about the second part and not the story. What a bitch. hehe

It also goes to show that it is in the nature of human beings that ... "We are at our best ... when circumstances are at there worst"
A well-known speaker started off his seminar by:holding up a $20.00 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20 bill?"
Hands started going up.
He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this. He proceeded to crumple up the $20 dollar bill. He then asked, "Who still wants it?"
Still the hands were up in the air.
Well, he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now, who still wants it?"
Still the hands went into the air.
My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20. Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened! or what will happen, you will never lose your value. Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you. The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO WE ARE
You are special
Don't Ever Forget it!
Godspeed
Master Gry
