Sometimes keeping your mouth closed can mean a variety of things. This can reflect well or can be a death knell of sorts in dealing with others. For instance, you could be sitting with your lover, enjoying the moment and their presence. Not saying a damn thing, but yet, just feeling them next to you, is like heaven. Instead of mere words spoken, you speak with your eyes, your soul, your heart, your touch.
Other times, by not saying anything, you could be showing your displeasure with them. Maybe you unknowingly or intentionally said something earlier that hurt or offended. Maybe, just maybe, you confided in them something they were not ready to hear or process. Or it could be as simple as they are worn out from a long tiring day.
Whatever the cause for saying nothing at all, when that moment of silence comes, as it surely will, embrace and welcome it. Think about it and take the time to fully consider the reason for the silence and reassess those things which brought you together initially.
Remember it's been said before... you say it best, when you say nothing at all.
