 Some couples actually don't have a problem with this practice. But for me, I could never share my toothbrush with my lover, and have always felt that way. I know I'm not alone in this, and I think each person should have their own. So my question to everyone is whould you share? What would be your reaction if you walked in and saw him/her using your toothbrush if you didn't share before? Would you let it go and ask them not to use it again, or would your throw out your toothbrush and get another one? I might have asked this question in one of my old blogs before, but there are so many new people these days on here.

I would perfer to have my own toothbrush, but if they happened to use mine, (only for brushing teeth, i dont want them cleaning the sink or toilet with it obviously) i wouldnt have a big issue with it.

That is one thing I won't share is my toothbrush. And if it is used by anyone else it goes in the garbage. Infact I bought two new one's today.

I know a lot of people have a problem with smelling someones morning breath, and I sure don't want to smell it let alone have it all over my toothbrush. Now clean mouths, that works for me!

Nope! I don't share my toothbrush. I never go anywhere without one, I carry a travel size brush and paste in my purse at all times. So I wouldn't need to use theirs and would hope they wouldn't use mine! As for brushing theirs......depends, has he had a stroke? got two broken arms? had surgery on both hands? Then yeah, but otherwise, probably not!

In a pinch... not a big deal... but I'd just as soon have my own brush for day to day "grooming". I'm pretty sure that goes for G too. When he was here, he decided to clean the fan in my bedroom. For some reason, instead of asking if I had something that could be used to brush the fuzz off, he used his own toothbrush. The next morning it dawned on us we forgot to replace it. I offered him the use of mine, but he didn't answer. I don't think he used it, but if he did, no biggy.

I cut G's hair when he was here. I'd shave body hair if need be, help out in the shower... I don't think I could cut his toenails, bothers me to cut my own, LOL Fingernails, yeah, I guess... no biggy. Lotion, no problem there. I'll even pop zits and squeeze out blackheads  Oh, and peel sunburnt skin off too!

Trying to get caught up a little tonight before I head on over to Kim's house. I'd say that she probably thinks I should be there by now. lol

Good one Shawn,,,,If I am kissing this man that I love so much,,,I would say yes,,,he could use my toothbrush amoung other things,,,,And yes I would brush his teeth and have,,,,Just like Ash,,,have done it all,,,, but have not had to wipe his his ass,,,,but I know if I had to I would,,,trimmed nose hair and plucked hairs off my ex husband ears....Kudo goes out to you....

If need be, sure. Like Crissy, though, not on a daily basis. I would prefer that we each had our own but once in a blue moon is certainly no big deal. For someone I care about, doing anything that was required for the ADLs I wouldn't have a problem doing. If he wants me to shave his back? Sure. All he has to do is ask. Now if it's something he could do himself and he is only seeing if I would or not, I'm not so sure.

First of all...as cheap as toothbrushes are there is no reason for you NOT to have a couple spares on hand...(at least one, anyway,...you never know if you might accidentally drop it)....and I don't think anyone would be offended by hearing "wait, let me get you a toothbrush...I have extras"......
