I do all of the shopping for home, and it makes me mad to buy poor quality stuff and not realize it till afterwards. I have found some items latey that were of great quality to I wanna share em with ya....

1. Mr clean eraser..... takes off anything a kid can put on the wall (walmart)
2. Bissell laundry spot remover , I sprayed a spot on the carpet with it , came right up , so it will probably workin on any fabric WONDERFUL...... I think its 1.30 (biglots).
3. Colibri is a purple cleaner with the scent of midnight mist GREAT smells so very pleasent .... 1.30 (biglots)
4. Dollar general brand of color safe bleach 1/2 price of clorox and works just as well .

1. Ham I believe its called farm valley (walmart) its presliced and fully cooked, they are all about the 5.00 range , absolutely the best tasting ham I have had.It really looks more like bacon but tates like ham ....omg....... yummmm
2.Medillion nacho cheese chips (walmart) 1.29 tastes as good or better than
doritos.
3. Clover valley cheese dipping sauce (dollar store) 1.50 is the best cheese dip I have ever bought, the medium has a kick to it so be careful.

So do yall have some products that tickle you more than others, lemme hear about it , I might could find it here too.

Mr.Clean's Eraser is the best thing that has come out in years. I find stuff everytime I clean to use it on.

I am like you, Mags, i like to go for the best deal but still have good quality tho there are a few items that I would buy no matter what the price:

Dawn Soap
Folgers Coffee
Charmin Tolit paper
Tide laundry soap

Never found anything that is the same as those.

Good blog, Mags.

Another product that has had some kind of change is Diet Pepsi, now first off I am a Diet coke person , (please yall dont send me that letter about how Diet coke is killing me , I have seen it and pitched it ) anyway .... I bought some DP the other day cause DC was not available.......... OMG its horrible, and even though I would rather have DC ,DP has never been really bad to me, I t hink they changed the formula and did not tell it .

I really like the Dollar General brand of wrinkle release spray. At my $store, it sells for a buck-fifty, while the brand name at walmart sells for about $5.00. Doesnt really give the same look as ironing, but works great for work clothes.

ALDI's "premium" store brand is Grandessa. The quality rivals any name brand product in the big stores at a smaller price. They have a frozen Strawberry fruit & juice bar that beats Dole all to heck.
The over all selection at ALDI's is somewhat limited and the produce isn't too great, but you can stock up on the basics and save some $$ to splurge on other things.

In the case of aldis, were yall aware that walmart will match store brand prices to their store brand? For example bread at aldies is .59 walmart store brand is .99 but I get it for the .59, I only learned of the store brand matching as of late, the produce may not be to swift at aldies, however you take your list to walmart and get it for that price....... pretty cool huh?

I use Meguiars Cleaner Wax followed by Turtle Wax ICE to produce a brilliant shine on older vehicles. You only need a little of ICE after using the Meguiars.

Warning: I am not responsible if your car paint falls off because I only know what works for me and I do not know your car paint.

Please make note: DO NOT GIVE THE MR CLEAN MAGIC ERASERS to your kids to let them help remove the marks on the walls. The ''magic'' ingredient in it causes horrible alkaline burns to kids faces, arms and whatever they wipe with it (on their own bodies) while they are cleaning the marks on the walls. Water makes the burns worse. See this information: www.urbanlegands.about.com/li brary/bl-magic-eraser-
burn.htm.
