I'm not sure where you guys stand on this topic, and this blog means no disrespect to those missing a limb (for instance some of our veterans). I'm just curious if you went out to a club or a bar and met someone with a missing leg, would you even consider having sex with that person? I know some people wouldn't, and some people would call those kind of people shallow for not even thinking about having sex with a person missing a limb. Personally, I don't think I would have a problem with it. Would you?

The limb does not make the person. There might be other reasons I would not have sex with/get involved with a person missing a limb but the missing limb definitely would not be a deterrant if that was the only reason.

Absolutely no problem at all. That person is not defined by the absence of a limb. What makes that person special is not their disability but who they are inside. Good question though. I'll be interested to see how others weigh in on this question.

Well personally I dont think the absence of a limb would realy bother me. There are many things that attract me to a person and though I do like watching a woman walk, I like to think I am man enough to find something to love in most people.

Many years ago, I had a LTR with a gentleman with a below the knee amputation. We had many problems, but the missing limb wasnt one of them. I had small children at the time and on one occasion my child hid the prostetic from him. Hey, I said we had problems...

Well, I can't disagree with much said on here, but those are largely politcal answers. As Straddle describes it, we aren't speaking about a relationship, the question is, would you get sleazy?
Particularly in a bar after two or ten drinks, it is not a matter of how many legs there are, it is a matter of how many holes are available.
As long as we are being shallow and honest (going back 30 years when you might find me in a bar), as long as she wasn't too ugly or too overweight, not a factor.

The primary difference is the difference with all human beings...the alteration in sensation. It's interesting to feel all of the differences in the human form, and enjoy them for what they are. That the difference is borne out of an amputation does not eliminate the interest, it is whether or not they are attractive as a person.

I have no problem with the way I look, I actually am more than willing to say I'm overweight. I personally joke about it myself alot, but there is a difference with joking about something and making fun of people in general.
