I need something.........Something that no one can seem to satisfy me with. My friends try but they can't do it. I need you to tell me something that I would really like to hear. No, not that. What were you thinking? lol
What is the scariest movie you have ever seen? Now, years ago, when ever... I'm not talking Jason's, Freddie's and Michael's. I mean scarey, really scarey.
I love scarey movies. I will sit by myself in the dark and watch them. I make fun of one of my best friends because she will not watch a scarey movie after dark with the lights on and 4 people in the room.
I have had friends tell me oh you have to watch this one, you'll turn all the lights in the house on, and won't sleep. Yeah, okay... whatever.
A friend brough over a movie tonight and said it's kinda scarey are you sure you really want to watch it tonight? It had to be back to the video store by midnight. Well yeah, I'm sure. There wasn't a thing about the movie scarey. It was Disturbia.
I mean the movie was alright and all, but...well you know what I mean. I like just about any type movie, romances, chic flicks, comedy, some biographies, oldies, but my favorite are suspense and scarey.
So do you have any recommendations?

I'm more into chic flic's. Romantic comedy...... or just straight comedy. One of my fav's is L.A. Story with Steven Martin.

As for scarey...... I was going to say Silence of the Lambs..... but it was somewhat predictable at the end....... lets go with Fatal Attraction. Nothing scarier than women with knives. lol. Don't believe me? Ask John Bobbit.

This one is not all that scarey..... but it is a great suspense movie and will keep you guessing all the way to the end. NOBODY i've talked to figured out the end. It's one big surprise.
The Game with Michael Douglas

I remember back in 1978 I was very pregnant with my first baby and I went to the movies alone and watched The Manitou.
The movie scared my so badly I could not even get up and walk out of the theatre. Funny thing is I watched it again about ten years later and had no clue what the heck had scared me the first time.

Oh, now that you mention being pregnant...

I remember seeing Conan The Barbarian when I was pregnant and the scenecs with the snakes apparently upset me so much in my dreams that I was having freaky dreams/nightmares for a long time afterwards. Your head does weird things when you're pregnant. Okay, mine does anyway.

I am with you Trease, not many really seem scarey to me. Sometimes they have something in them that startles me, but not really scarey. Seven was quite disturbing, but again, not really scarey. I don't know but am interested to see what people say, so I may rent some that I haven't seen.

Hey L4..... it was like 1:30 in the morning and I was lucky to type coherently. I DID pass on Silence as I went on. I agree it's a pretty good movie and one I have in my video collection.
As one who doesn't watch scarey movies, I was just trying to contribute. And.... I didn't want to reveal that my SCARIEST movie was An American Tale. Poor Fivel was separated from his parents in a foreign land..... not knowing if he would EVER see them again..... it was just too much........

Damn, Slo I don't know which is more scarier the movie or the fact that you actually had to have watched that movie to know what it was about!! So much for my comment of putting on the big boy pants................we see how you are now.
