I have five sisters, and I am the baby of them all, when I was growing up and even after for many years, I always thought mama had her favorites, daddy showed no special treatment, but I always thought mama did ....... thinking to myself for many years that Ann had something special, and Cindy must have too ..... took me having two children of my own to realize the truth of the matter, finding out she loved them differently did not mean more or less ....... just different .... my girls are 13 and 5 and they are really like night and day in their personalities, one smiles and laughs, the other is more sullen , both love sports, the foods they eat are COMPLETLY different, and my love is different as well ........ I finally was able to tell my mama what I had been thinking for years and how I come to understand different kinds of love ........Tell me your ranking in your family and your thoughts on the subject please.

Thanks for reading and posting ............ Yall have a wonderful day ........

I am the oldest, and also the blacksheep for most of my life. It blew me away the other day when my mother finally said to me.. I'm proud of you. Up til then I had not been going to amount to anything, and was ugly and stupid. My baby brother could do no wrong.

I just smiled and asked her who she was and what she had done with my mother.

Mom always treats us the same! My oldest sister is 15 minutes from mom whereas the middle child and myself live in Indiana. So big sis is by default (she also puts up with alot from mom). The middle child is daddy's favorite and that is common knowledge. Me I'm the rock, hard headed, stubborn and proud.

I found out that I was adopted when I was 16 years old, and for awhile was very confused about it. I never however felt that mom and dad loved me any different than my brother and sister.

I am the baby, even of all the cousins! However, does it really matter anymore--all my immediate family is gone, except for my kids of course. It was kinda cool growing up the baby!

I'm the baby of 4 and the only girl. My mother didn't know what to do with a girl when I came along. I was a daddy's girl through and through. I always thought I should get some preferential treatment, but I never did. You see my younger brother was always the "sickly" one and he got everything he ever wanted or desired. But in the later years my mom and I got closer and it turned out alright for me I suppose. My dad died when I was 16 and my mom when I was 26, I wish they had both lived longer, so I could've shown my kids what wonderful people they were.

I was the youngest of two boys. I always thought my brother got more because he was older but now I realize I had the best parents in the world. They have past away and so has my brother and I wish I would have spent more time with all of them.

Awww, this is a sweet blog. I'm in the middle with two older brothers, a younger brother and a younger sister. My sister is 12, my younger bro. is 19, my older bros. are 29 and 30. I'm 25, still growing up, but more grown up than I've been in the past. I feel sorry for my little sis though, can you imagine dating a girl with 4 older brothers, let alone, adult brothers! Not that she's dating yet, hopefully that won't happen until she's 25 or 30. But I love my whole family, brothers, sisters, sister in-laws, ex sister in-laws, adopted nephew (adopted by marriage), nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and last but not least, grandma (saving the best for last) whom I live with.

I didn't have brothers or sisters but; I found it interesting reading what you had to say about loving differently.
