I'm not sure whether to take comfort in the fact that I seem to be smarter than the vast majority of those around me...or alarmed by the sheer volume of dumbasses on this planet.
A stunningly attractive woman...posting on a sex personals site, with only one picture. Are you REALLY dense enough to think that picture is them? Chances are it's some bloated pig of a woman fishing for attention, a porn site front, or worst of all...some furry hedgehog of a gay man trying desperately to get his rocks off.

Well I'm safe, I'm not stunningly attractive... whew !!!!
I hate having pictures taken of me... always have.. probably always will...
I've only had one picture capture my personality... that is my old picture posted
I've only met one person who I met on-line and it was very nice that both of us had been honest with our pictures.
Did you personally have a bad experience?

I agree, not everyone with one pic is shady, but if you're out here genuinely lookin to meet people, you want them to see more than just the one "good" pic you could find. Another reason I dont trust the "1 Pic Profile" is that alot of these end up contacting me trying to get money one way or another. juz my experience with the "1 Pic Profile"

See I guess I'm different. I have more of a tendency to not trust men that have pics of them and another woman posted! Especially if they have obviously cropped the pic but you still see part of her right there up against him. Just seems like a married or otherwise attached man trying to lie.

Depends on what you're here for. I trust most people here since my goals on here are pretty limited. I'm just here to blog, play in the forums and flirt a little (yeah yeah I know I need to update my essays). It's not like I'm actually going to meet anyone in person. Heck I don't even do face pics and phones. By the same token people have little to lose by trusting me since I'm not gonna ask anything personal of them.

I have become an expert at receiving scam mail (not by choice) and will share the tips I have learned.
It's not so much as the single photo as it is the quality.Nearly every profile I have seen that has a professional "studio look"photo is fake.And the woman usually looks like a model (because she is..in the Ukraine...)Or the photo was purchased by a gentleman in Nigeria. Any ladies out there who are legit and have this type of photo- I apologize. If it looks like its from a clothing catalog, beware.
Another thing is the writing. If it sounds very vague and she wants a "God fearing man to loveher and provide for her and she will show you appreciation with loyalty and love", watch out.
Third, if some of the language is "off", as in gramatically incorrect or out of context, thats a good sign English is not their language. (saying they want a man with a good "structure " when they mean body..) Also watch for omissions of words like "I"or "a", as in "Am very pretty and am wanting strong man." where it should have started with "I". Any language that just sounds, well,"off" is probably translated or written by a non-english speaker.
Another strong indication of a fake is if every section has the same exact answer.They write a description and then paste it in for every answer.Word for word. As in;
1.Tell us about yourself; Hello my name is Nadia....
2. What are you likes and dislikes;? Hello my name is Nadia...
3. What are you looking for in a man? Hello my name is Nadia...
If you see this, keep rollin'.
Finally, if you do write and give them you first name and the response starts with"Dear"( or something similarly inappropriate for someone you have never met) be cautious. Especially if they go on to tell you they are originally from New Jersey but are presently in Nigeria for some strange reason.I have been around and have yet to meet anyone who has been to Nigeria (except with the peace corps).
After I got burned a few times, I decided to study this thing scientifically, and when I did I was able to spot fakes 48 out of 50 times. If you see a profile youre not sure of- hit me up. I can smell them ten miles away now. Good luck but be a little cautious--- If she sounds too good to be true, she probably is. And I have 67 fiancees in Russia, the Ukraine and Nigeria to prove it....  ...
