Tonight, history was made. Barry Bonds hit his 756th homerun. Afeat no dought. Congratulations Barry. No matter what anyone says, this is a day to be remembered. I think this guy has gotten a lot of bad press recently and if you think about it, with all the attention of late, do you honestly think he was on juice tonight? I think not, and at his age, homeruns are a feat in itself. Barry is the greatest homerun king of all time and it will be many years before anyone comes close to that record again. Give the man his due and realize that you have you have witnessed history. Again, thanks Barry for making Americas sport the great sport of all time.

Yeah I saw that home-run too and it felt pretty special 'cos I felt like I had aged alongside him since my university days about one and a half decades ago. He has certainly come a long way.

Wonder who was the lucky person who caught the ball.

Its Impressive yes.
To bad his "possibly" being on the Juice, will forever give it a stigma (whether he is on it or not)
And to bad he was an ass to the press, the very people who can make him look bad or good regardless of what he's really like throughout his career.
If he played the political thing with the press he could be at Icon status rivaling "Ruth" right now.
Congrats Barry

Well, somebody has to say it...

I don't care. If he spent five years on steroids, five years' worth of those homers shouldn't count. I don't care if he was on 'em today, because he was on 'em before. Hank Aaron wasn't.

Plus, Barry Bonds is a fuckin' dick to the fans and press.

When Alex Rodriguez passes him without steroids, then we'll start talking about "icon status".

In the record books should be a large asterisks noting the tainted nature of how Barry Bonds acquired the record. This is just another reason sports in America suck. Corporate greed, athletes that cheat, referees too! I follow minor league and local non-professional sports to watch the athletes who play for the love of the game. As for Barry, MLB should have FULLY investigated his steroid use from the very beginning and the minute he didn't cooperate, MLB should have banned him from the sport. HAMMERIN' HANK IS STILL THE HOME RUN KING - HE EARNED IT!

Did he or didn’t he use steroids, only Barry can answer and he isn’t talking.
Look at the following photos and tell me what you think.

Barry in 1983

Barry in 1990

Barry in 1999 - in 1999 he started to "bulk" up

Barry in 2001 - Before 2001 the most HRs he hit in any season was 49 in 2001 he hit 73.

Barry in 2004 - and this is a man who does not do any extensive weight training
