Why is everyone afraid to respond back and tell each other ...Hey I found someone else  .... instead that quit writing or calling  . I mean the nice ones.  ...the dirty ones won't leave ya alone...lol

Personally, I think many times they just dont want you to know that while they were talking to you they were talking to others, and not to tell you that they found someone--well that is just a fall back plan, things dont work out, they will probably come back and give you a wild bs story to cover for time period gone. And sometimes they just disappear because they get themselves into something and are too much of a fucking coward to tell you the truth.

There's just no good way to deliver bad news. Nobody likes bad news, whether sending or receiving. I honestly believe that some will go so far as to do something bad enough to provoke the other person into initiating the breakup.
In the "real" world, you can't avoid it, but online, it's pretty easy to just disappear. I do agree with you that it's still nicer to break up than to just leave them hanging.

I've had this happen to me before and when I asked several men I know they tell me it's just the easier way out. Not that I like it but for some they just think it's easier.
Me personally, if I move on, I at least let them know. I think it's the decent thing to do.

how can someone "hurt" a person that they have only been chatting with??? i had a guy disappear after meeting...after confronting him...he said he didnt want to hurt me...HURT ME???...after one date?????? i hardly think that i am that insecure to allow someone i met once hurt me...when people disappear...its just being a coward....
