Roughly accurate -- or it was in 2003, at any rate, when this message was first composed by person(s) unknown and launched into circulation online.
It was not accurate when the identical text circulated again in 2005, nor when it reappeared for another go-around in 2006, nor when it cropped up again in 2007. Source: http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/bl_mars_encounter.htm

Absolutely not true. Mars never gets that close to Earth. But I do indeed agree with Pudge; go outside anyways and get some fresh air. Hell, look at the moon, too; what're ya gonna do instead? Eat at Wendy's and play with your prick all night?

even if it was true, I would rather stay inside and look at your moons. At least they would be close enough to touch.
