Well (said with laconic drawl...) the use of the word site or sight has 2 different meanings based on the use of the word. A site is a physical location as in a construction site or even here, an address on the internet. Sight is the acuity of light reflection from the rods and cones located within your eyes and is a perception of how your brain interprets the spectrum of light given the varying degrees of intentsity.
Does this give any insight?

I would like to join in on the cacophony of spelling & grammar nuts; Kudos, DB, on an excellent, and much needed, piece of literature. It swells my heart with pride to see others have never let go of that kid inside who won the second-grade spelling bee.

My issues aren't with typos, as much as laziness...I know in this world of acronyms, abbreviations, and endless cell texts, there will always be those that look for shortcuts...but using 2 instead of to/too, or Ur instead of your/you're tends to leave some room for interpretation.
*And yes...I spell checked!
