Forgive if this has been thought of before. I make no claim to originallity. In fact, now that I think of it, it has been done before/currently. I do not remember hearing of it being done by "normal" people like those who exsist here on AMD.
Ok, thats been done. But not quite like this. Paticipants with web cams join a game and play with other players from around the globe.
Rules of Play!
Limit of 4 players per table.
All players must have a web cam and a deck of cards.
Play begins with each player shuffling thier deck of cards.
Shuffled deck placed to the left of, but within view of cam.
NO JOKERS ALLOWED IN PLAY. (not just the ones in the deck either)
Each player will need a means of supporting 5 card held vertically without using hands to hold them. A pair of books with the spines facing each other will do.
Each player will draw 5 cards face down.
The cards are placed between the spines so they are in view of the cam.
The face of each card shall be viewed by the 3 other players and not the player who shuffled them.
Play starts with a player whom all 4 agree shall be the dealer. (In title only)
Play moves to the left of dealer.
Each player must choose a discard/draw/hold on the first round of play.
Each play must get input from the other players which cards to discard.
Herein lies the real "poker face" of the game. YOU must decide who's helping you and whos hurting you.
Standard poker rules apply for best hands.
Give it a try. Lots of fun between friends. Now you can have a poker night.
