As the moon slowly said its good bye.
Even though you were not there.
Did you watch with me?
The moon slowly disappear from sight.
Shining ever so bright, as it hung to the edge of night.
Brought a smile to my face, yet a tear to my eye.
Never being there. Never being the one.
Held in each others arms. Share a look in your eyes.
Did you watch with me?
Did you see me standing there?
Beside you, as the moon said its good bye.
Kissing the edge of the night sky.
