While everyone might not have liked her she was valiant through her trials, tribulations and battle with cancer.

She didn't do anything wrong, I was referring more to her style. We all make bad choices and I just think hers started out on the right track and went sideways as it does for a lot of us.

I disagree! I will always believe that she knew far more about the ripoffs with Jim than she ever let on! C'mon, you can't live that way, spend that money daily and not have some knowledge of where it's coming from! I'm not saying that I'm happy that she has died, but I'm sure she has her own sins to answer for.

Personally I missed all the scandal living in Australia so I only really knew of her after moving here. I found her to be very warm and genuine and I liked her a lot. Of course most of my knowledge came from watching her in the surreal life reality show. I am sad she died such a horrible death no one should have to suffer like that.

Don't think of Tammy Faye as innocent. She may not have done anything wrong, but I don't recall her turning her husband in either. She also seems to have lived a rather luxurious life off of what the feds weren't able to confiscate (perhaps due to being incorporated or due to bankrupcy loopholes). She is by no means an innocent person. Good riddance to her and I hope he former husband Jim Bakker soon follows.

I am not saying Tammy didn't make mistakes, we all do or that she was a total innocent in the scandal. But, I think she has already done her penance.

I too have to agree with ladybootscooter!
Am I sad she died? No, not really. But am I so hateful of a person to be happy he or she has died? NO!
Now this is a bit off topic, but what PISSES ME OFF ...Is...the priorities of some people.
I was very pissed at all the media attention Princess Di recieved over, and because of her death. And I bet most people aren't even aware of this...around the time of the death of Princess Di, we also lost Mother Teresa.
In fact many people, as well as the media compared Princess Di and the things she did to that of Mother Teresa.
PUHLEASE!!! GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK!!!

I have mixed feelings about Tammy Faye.. I'm sorry that she passed away and that she was so sick and possibly in pain before her passing. I've always felt that her tears were fake I've never seen a person who could turn the tears on at the drop of a hat like she could. And I do believe that she was just as guilty as Jim for taking advantage of good people and ripping them off. ( thats just my own feeling, I used to watch her and her husband when they were promoting that christian village theme park they were very persuasive.) But she doesn't answer to me, she has to answer to others and maybe her own higher self. May she rest in peace.

Tammy Faye was an interesting character. My heart is soothed, knowing she is free from pain. Rest in peace and I hope you find your heaven.

In fact many people, as well as the media compared Princess Di and the things she did to that of Mother Teresa. As a citizen of the UK I have only this to say. Mother Theresa = Good, did lots of great works Princess Di = Media seeking and manipulation harpy who though she made the royal family more accessible was an attention seeking bitch. I miss Mother Theresa more than Princess Di though I am sad that she died I don't miss her.

Might not have always agreed what she stood for and her believes, she has gone through Hell these last few years and always showed the will to continue till the end. She might not of been the most popular person, but give her kudo's for standing up to what she believed in. May she rest in peace.

thank you CC....I thought I was the only one that noticed it at the time....it was such a travesty to Mother Theresa's life and work to put Princess Di's death over and above her's.
