Two Wheelersburg juveniles have been charged in the rape of another juvenile, according to Scioto County Sheriff . The Scioto County Sheriff's Office received a report on July 6 from a mother alleging her five-year-old daughter had been raped while playing in the back yard with other neighborhood children.
Deputies responded to the Wheelersburg residence and took a complaint of an alleged rape, and forwarded the report to detectives for further investigation.
According to the Sheriff's Department, the juvenile girl was transported to Southern Ohio Medical Center for treatment and later transported to Adena Medical Center in Chillicothe for further medical treatment.
After an investigation was completed, detectives charged two juveniles, a nine-year-old boy and an 11-year-old boy with rape, a felony of the first degree.
Both juveniles reportedly were released in the custody of their parents and will appear in Scioto County Juvenile Court at a later date.
said the successful apprehension of the suspects is the direct result of joint efforts of the Scioto County Sheriff's Office detectives, Porter Township deputies and Scioto County Children Services.
Scioto County Sheriff 's detective said she interviewed the suspects Tuesday afternoon at her office, then conferred with Chief Deputy before releasing the arrests and charges information.

That is the hardest part of my job! I can sit through the goriest of murder trials and shed nary a tear. But any time a child is hurt or molested.....I have to hold it together in the court room, but the minute I'm done...I'm down the back elevator, grab my smokes, go outside to the back of the building for a good long cry. If that doesn't get it out of me, pull it back together til I get off then cry all the way home! These cases always break my heart.

We just got a kid in our facility who is 11 and is there because he molested a 3 yr old little girl.... (who is also recieving treatment)
I am faced every day with these issues, the hardest part is its my job to help him...
Because lets face it, normal kids dont do this kind of stuff... there is SOMETHING wrong in their world, we just have to figure out what.

i know there are various types of rape, penetration-wise. but i don't recall getting any erections when i was nine years old. maybe eleven, but not nine. just wondering. ugly story.

Those parents should have never been given the right to have a child. Some people just weren't meant to be parents. I'd go so far as to put them in jail with other offenders to scare the shit out of them. Then off to military school. There is a special place in hell for people like that.
I still think the consequences to rape should be castration, no if, ands or dicks about it!!!

You are 100% right, there IS something wrong in their world...it's their PARENTS! Plain and simple...sorry JJ but I get pissed everytime someone wants to pass the blame or point fingers. Thinking there must be something wrong with...the TV shows kids watch, or the movies they see, or the shit they hear in music...so on and so on.
Always trying to find out what's wrong with some kids today...there is nothing wrong with the kids, there is something wrong with their parents for not bringing them up correctly...
Hell, my parents were not perfect...far from it. They made their mistakes, as I've made mine with my kids. However, they taught me right from wrong...
If you ask me, they should arrest the parents!!

yeah, any time their kids commit a crime that merits arrest (trial & conviction & sentence, etc) I think the parents should be held liable as well. be a lot less fucked up kids (and fucked up parents) out on the streets.

how sad..... I have read the other comments, and also the new blog that is a thread from this post. I really truly believe that the nine and eleven year old learned this behavior from somewhere. Was it their parents? Was it television? Was it an older sibling? Was it the internet? It is hard to say.
I agree that the parents should know where their kids are and what they are doing, but if the parents don't give a crap, then the kids have to be held accountable for their actions.
It really bothers me that the parents of the children who are nine and eleven weren't around supervising them, but where to hell was the parent to the five year old???? I have had a five year old a time or two before, and you don't just leave them outside to play alone!
The whole thing makes me sick....
