I'm always curious when people expect so much out of me but offer little in return. Like emails where guys want me to send them erotica that I write specifically for them. Sorry, I don't have the time, I don't do that for people without a picture, and I certainly won't do that after the first time you've ever emailed me. I love this site, but it's lacking in maturity big time. I'm barely an adult myself but some of the emails I get, ugh. I know, I'm complaining again, so I'll stop.
I've stopped being nice in return, I don't even bother to respond to emails I don't like. It's easy to become jaded. I was supposed to meet a guy just this last week but he didn't call. I reckon either a.) his profile was fake b.) he was married c.) he wasn't interested. (I'd rather believe anything other than c).. I can't say it's an often thing to be stood up, but it's helped me to screen potential dates a little bit better. I've only stood up a guy once, but I had my reasons. Maybe, people enjoy the fantasy of being with someone rather than actually being with them. Are dreams better than reality? Chances are we wouldn't have gotten on well, I would have been bored, and he would have been cheap. lol. Why can't I meet someone who makes me feel interesting? Frankly...... it really sucks. I feel like I can't connect with people very well anymore. My friends don't seem to get me, and my roommates are starting to feel like strangers. I am surrounded by people all the time but intellectually I feel all alone. Why are we all made so different? Forgive my melancholy tone, I'm listening to Kate Rusby and she ruins me every time. Maybe. that just happens when you're busy. You start to lose touch, and I've lost touch big time. I'm thinking about not returning to school in the fall, however an incredibly STUPID decision it would be. Usually I can balance everything really well, but I'm getting tired. I can either do 3 things. Stay in school, go back to Alaska, or join the peace corps. I'd never join the military, nothing against patriotism, but that's just SOOOOOO not me. I'm too opinionated, too liberal for that. I actually took this politics test and it said I was a fascist.  But, n/m about that. My birthday is coming up soon.  Yay!
I have been having fun though, every night after work I go out with my friends I work with and we have a few drinks. It gives me an excuse to put on make up and high heels. One thing that's good in this city is all the clubs, course I'm usually always the worst dancer in a room full of about 300 people, so it can be ego crushing. lol.
Anyway, that's all that's new.

what I know (sorta) about you is you're straightforward, honest, and upfront. all good qualities. the idiots you might attract on here with that type of personality, can get rather tiring ( as evidenced by some of the preceeding comments).
sounds like you need a vacation, a temporary change of scenery. you should value your education, but there's nothing wrong with taking a little time off for the peace corps, or something. just enjoy your life, and enjoy yourself. you know the world is bigger than AMD.

Your right, you have no obligation at all to be nice to any man that emails you that does not read your entire profile. When a person joins this or any other site and is specific in what they are looking for and then gets an email from an idiot then why be nice to him. I know we women get tons more email than the men and I am tired of the idiots that do not read or just do not respect me. So hell no, I'm not nice to them
