Went out last night with a co-ed group and posed to them a question I have been pondering for a long time now. The discussion got pretty interesting, so I figured I would ask it here also. 
Why is it always the guy will be getting lucky if he picks up someone / gets picked up for the night, but if a gal picks up a guy or goes home with a guy, might not she be getting lucky also? 
I will now head back to my cave and await your responses.

Serious answer...
Girls are taught at young age that there is a whole list of things that "good girls don't do". On that list of things is the implied message that good girls *don't* enjoy sex and by implication that if you admit to enjoying it you are a "bad girl"... a "slut", "trash", etc...
Boys on the other hand learn early that notches in the bedpost are a good thing and something to be proud of.
Men *never* have to learn that sex is anything other than fun... women on the other hand almost always have to reach a point in their lives where they are comfortable within their own skin and with their sexuality before they toss aside the lessons of their childhoods.
Personally.... I would say that I was gettin lucky...

I'm with Shadow...I was taught women who "got lucky" were slutty and men who get lucky are to be commended. It's hard for me to get over a life long lesson like that.
Now...I also have to agree with CC...the men never know...only the women....at least we do if the man's worth his weight in gold.
