Did yall spend for the 4th? This is t he first year I did not buy fireworks,thought I might today,but nah not even gonna do that, but I did have the best cookout ..... omg I had portebella mushrooms on the grill ......... with lots of other goodies, including ice cold melon......... mouth is drooling now ....

I like this question! I can honestly say I spent 1 dollar; and that was on a 2 litter peach tea they sell over here. For dinner we had steak, lobster, chicken, ribs, and about everything else...and of course PLENTY of near beer!!!  I hope EVERYONE had a great holiday and spent plenty of time with family and loved ones.

Hiya Mags  We didnt buy any fireworks, i personally think it's a waste of money...we went to a carnival, my youngest rode some rides, we ate carnival food...wasn't that great, and then stayed for the firework show. Got home around 11:30.

I spent the day alone watching TV.
But for dinner I fixed myself Steak wrapped in Bacon, Baked Potato's,
Corn on the cab, and a Salad with vinaigrette dressing.
For desert I had two more helpings of the above.

I spent most of the day working on my house and I didn't spend a dime on fireworks this year..
All around my neighboorhood it was quiet..
This is the first year that the 4th of July was really quiet around here..

I TOTALLY scored at Stop-N-Shop!!!
Steak tips were marked down to $1.99 a pound from $6.99 a pound and they were FANTASTIC!
I ate alone..... but that's besides the point
I saved money!!

I didn't spend any money on the 4th, but around $15 on the 3rd. It was my grandmas birthday on the 4th, what do you get for an 87 year old? I just gave her a hug and wished her a happy birthday. I stayed at home (I live at grandmas) and had a cook out. One of my brothers and his girl friend came over, plus my mom and dad.

Didn't spend anything on fireworks...went to see the little local show (where I did get a few great photos) but we did spend about $20 at KFC for dinner (to take to the show) and almost $100 at the store picking up some fishing stuff & a wading pool, some batteries, Gatorade, bottled water and, um, what else?

Didn't spend anything on fireworks and didn't even see any fireworks. Went to a boring cook out at a friend's house. Kept wanting to leave but they kept wanting me to stay so I did. Then came home and went to bed. It was so exciting I couldn't keep my eyes open.

Oh WOW...I spent way over $150.00 and reading what everyone else spent I am sitting here wondering why I did that....Oh yea, I took the kids to the beach and spent to much money...I can't seem to go anywhere without spending to much money....Must be me....lol........I didn't buy any fireworks though!! Just a few things for kids, food, beer, gas money, a new bikini for myself....Hmmm....

I have no clue what I spent, cooked a rack of ribs on the grill, had some nice imported beer and homemade bread, Kinda quiet but fun none the less, oh yeah, while the ribs were smoking I did get to go fishing.
