I think I've been here long enough to be comfortable doing this.

If anyone would like to listen, I have some music that I created and recorded, all here at home, that I'd like to share with you all.

You can find it at Beta Records and it currently lists all the songs I've completed. I've one more in the works, but I'm just not feeling it's the right time to record the vocals, so that one will have to wait.

Of course, feel free to comment on the music as you wish. I won't hold it against you. Well, unless you ask nicely.

What kind of music? I write country music and have had a couple of songs recorded in Nashville. Always looking for new co-writers. {email address removed}

I found incantation to be a bit disturbing. Somewhere between the muted voice and the inhales after each word makes me think of some undead creature.. but I like the music.

I listened to each one and it's the wrong genre for me. Give me my smooth jazz and blues.

But, I appreciate anyone with talent and the effort made. It's not easy trying to be an original.

If you love what you do then keep doing it.

I meant to say in the blog itself that I know the music I've done so far is not going to be to everyone's taste.

I've listened to "Solstice" twice, and it is suprisingly good. The first notes sound synthisized, but maybe you could use an ebow on an electric guitar for this part. The piece maybe could use more of a lead instrument, (e.g. electric guitar or something creative). Anyway, who am I to criticize? You probably already are looking into it, but my advice is to find a producer or co-producer, one who is sympathetic to your music. With further production I would probably buy it.
