Just curious to find out what you all think about dating someone younger than yourself. How young is too young (within the bounds of legality of course)?

I've never narrowed my search by age, but I've learned from experience that so far the men I've meet younger than me we have too big a gap in expectations, experiences and such that would not allow for us to sustain a relationship because some of these things are on my must have list.
But I don't rule it out. I'm more concerned with quality than age.

I was married to a man 10 years my junior. I don't have a problem with older or younger...but 10 years in either direction is about the limits of where I am comfortable. Closer in age seems to work better for me. My BF is 16 months younger than me.

it all depends on both individuals. there isn't a 'one size fits all' rule for ANY relationship - with the exception of one golden rule:
communicate honestly.
:)
have fun!

I tend to relate a little better to people my age or older, but I think it's a wise policy not to set overly restrictive parameters for love. You never know who might surprise you.

Age is just a number I have dated younger and older. I prefer older men they just seem to be more settled in life and easier for me to relate to.

I cant say I have ever dated anyone younger, but I think if I found a younger person and we clicked age wouldnt be a factor.

I was married to a woman that was 7 yrs. younger than I and she just wasn't ready to settle down, a very immiture thought process and really had no clue where she was going in life. Now I look for 4 yrs. older or younger but that is about it for me, I want someone who is mature and knows what they want and don't have to play mind games,(actually I don't think they do it intentionally , they just really don't know what they want out of life and think if they jump from man to man they will find the right one)

I've been playing with women 22 years younger to 5 years older . Prefer the younger ones, but it depends on the woman.
Style beats speed !!

I dated a woman 14 years my junior, it didn't work out though. I also dated a woman 15 years my senior. Age is just a number but you both have to be able to communicate.

Allthough I was accused of being insecure about my age(I'm 56) and dating younger women; this member had sent a private email to another member saying this. Of course in her ignorance she did not know that the relationships that I have had since my separation and divorce, were all with women 15-20 years younger than me; and to those fine women,it did not make a bit of difference at all.

I've gone 8 above and 8 below.....it's the mentality not the age you should be looking at..because both of them acted like kids, spoiled brats whatever you want to call them....it's not the age it's the attitude

I've dated younger and older too (about 15 years or so either way). Someone who takes care of themself can be young at 55 and someone who lives a hard life can be very old at 34. It's not the number, its the attitude, the lifestyle, etc.
