Alright. Let's see, where should I start? I made plans last Saturday nite. It started with a football game, I was supposed to go with my boss (and no, it wasn't a date, it was a carpool to a corporate event) and he calls me 2 hours before the game and cancels due to a work related incident. (Which was actually something quite hilarious, that I'd love to divulge, but if I did, I'd have to kill you..lol)So, I IM a giu friend on Yahoo and ask him if he wants to meet for drinks around 9:30, he says yes. So, I'm like...cool! Well, I have some time to kill, So....I call up this other guy that has been wanting to meet me and we decide to meet at a Cigar bar. Ok, I thought. I get there and I'm waiting & waiting. So, I call up the other guy friend and see what he's up to and he says..."Oh, glad you called, I forgot I have a BBQ to go to." I'm like alright, no biggie. So, first it's my boss, then the guy I never met (not showing up) and now my friend. What the fuck??? Here I am bored outta my tree and this happens!! 
So, here I am again, Friday nite, I made plans with 2 people tonite and guess what?? No calls...No show.... 
Now, I'm not writing this for sympathy....I don't want any sappy shit about "I'll come hang out with you, I'd never stand you up...yada, yada, yada...."
The fuckin' point is...PEOPLE SUCK ASS!! 
And this is the honest reason I don't keep anyone close...I don't have "friends", I have aquaintances. Seriously, what happened to real friends, the ones that were always by your side, whether it was the two of you getting in trouble, having fun, crying, laughing, sharing memories. Now a days, everyone is too fucking busy, on the cell phone, on the computer...all stuck in the world of technology. What the fuck happened to going out and having a beer, shooting the shit and playing a game of pool, oogling at the men and laughing at the drunken women. What happened?? 
Look what this has brought me to!! Just LOOK!!! Now, I gotta go alone, and bless the place I chose to go with my beautiful, similing face. All alone.....when there could have been 2 beautiful faces.....This is a shame....a real fuckin' shame....
