So im wondering, does anyone on this site wanna meet for sum "fun"  ? Maybe there just arent that many active members in my area, or maybe its because im a tad bit young, but age doesnt matter. But i would really like to meet up with someone from this site. Im wondering do many people meet through this site, or is it just something to kill time with??? Yes, people do meet here, but, ask yourself this... would you want to meet a complete idiot? The woman above can't spell and makes little sense, and the guy on top is not much more intelligent. I have chatted with women that I woud not fuck with your dick... I would be afraid of catching something and having mine fall off. Then there was the indian girl (from India) who had an arranged maraige and wanted someone desperately. Well, I would not recommend her because when she took off her pants, WOW, the stench almost knocked me out! I guess, in some cultures, the word "douch" does not exist. On the other hand, I have met a few that are a little more intrelligent and know how to do things the right way. You have to communicate and develop some kind of connection first, however, but, please.... PLEASE..., do so with a little intelligence. and avoid the dummies who have IQs under 70.

I honestly know quite a few people that have met via this site. Now, can't be certain of the age thing, but it does SEEM that it happens more with folks 35-55...but that could be because those are mostly the ages of the folks I interact with and who I hear from about their meetings and such. It does seem that this site doesn't seem to really 'work' for those of you unfer 30, especially under 25. But, then, it may also be how that age group goes about interacting.

I'm guessing alot of it is your age! Not many people your age have the means to travel great distances to meet. As for the age doesn't matter thing, I hear this from "youngsters" every day! Please keep in mind, while it might not matter to you that the woman is much older than you, it probably matters to her that you are the age of her kids!! This is really a tough question to answer properly, AND in the proper context...
While many are looking for only fun, there are those in search of that, and a whole lot more out of a relationship, no matter how it arrives.
Fun times are fine, but what happens after the fun is over?
Are you both still interestested to take things to the next level, and are you compatible as well as comfortable with each other for long periods of time?
If you can honestly answer 'yes' to these simple questions, then you probably have the means to keep a relationship moving along in the right direction.
If not, then your best move is to move on, as she will as well.
I made the same mistake you did right after I joined.....but I also have not been all that active here since I did meet someone from another site I never expected to actually occur.....and I was 'active' on that site for 3+ years!
It is said everything takes time....but there are days when time is not a friend.
I am still very interested in the one person I met, and I look forward to spending a lot of real, quality time with her, but like others, she's not 'next door' so our times are brief at best, but we make up for that with excellent conversation, coffee, and some hiking and talking about each other's life and family and more.
We are really comfortable talking on the phone, and we have talked for upwards of two hours at a time, but not every time.
Email is used more, then comes the phone, then of course, letters in snail mail.
We also use Yahoo for 1-on-one conversations(when her internet is working)...and have fun with that also.
Your best bet is to make the best of every contact you make, no matter where you make it, or how.
Mine is my center, and that's what I focus on, and nobody else.
You can bet that if yor eyes wander even for a moment, she'll know, and she'll know she's not your center of attention...you'll be blown off very soon, and she'll move on, with you on the wayside once again.
If there's just ONE trick to mention, it MUST be the 'focus' you have with that special someone.
If you can't keep focused and wander off....she'll wander away from you, I guarantee it 100%.
That's my .o2C on the subject...YMMV.

Just come here and have fun, what happens, just happens. If yu meet a nice lady or two and make things of it then great. If not, just have fun meet some realy nice people, weather they can spell or not. If you listen to the dipshits like doctoroflove385 you will not last long. Enjoy yourself here.
