Just read today's newspaper concerning the search for Bob Barker's replacement on The Price is Right. From what I read Bob Barker gave his approval on Rosie O'Donnell for his possible replacement on the popular game show. The former host however isn't sure the network wants a woman to take over the show. All others in the running for the host of the game show are Todd Newton of E!, Mark Steins of Entertainment Tonight, George Hamilton and John O'Hurley. To be honest, I don't know the first two I mention, but I do know of Hamilton and O'Hurley, and either one of them could be possible good replacements. I'm sure there are a lot more people to be considered as host. All I can say is anyone but Rosie would be fine with me.
What's your opinion on this, and should Rosie be host?
I did a blog on this about two or three weeks ago about who should be host, but this blog is more about whether or not Rosie should be the host.

Rosie has her moments...... but game show host wouldn't be one of them. She would always be trying to be the "star" and the show is about the guests. Barker played off them as any comedian would.... but he never tried to be the star and I"m afraid Rosie would.

Well personally I love Rosie and I would be interested in seeing how she would do in the role.

I don't think she would make a good game show host.
As for who should take over the show I am not sure. Who ever does will not replace Bob Barker..

I think they should just give up the show. they will end up getting a new host and then reformatting and ruin the whole thing anyway. It was good while it lasted.

I really have no idea why she is famous. She's not funny, she is mean, and she is as dumb as a bag of hammers. If you ever watched her talk show from years ago, it was always clear that she made the guests know that he was in charge.
