A man went to a party and after drinking too much, his friends plead with him not to drive home.
The man said "No" It is only five blocks and starts home. One block from his house the police pull him over, ask for his license and get him out of the car to walk the line.
Just as he starts, the police radio blares out a notice of a robbery around the corner. The police tell the party animal to stay put, they will be right back and the police race around the corner to the robbery.
The drunk waits and waits and finally decides to go home. When he gets home, he tells his wife he is going to bed and to tell anyone who comes looking for him that he is sick with the flu and been sick in bed all day.
A few hours later the police show up and ask the wife if her husband is at home. The police still have his driver's license. The women says he is in bed and has been there all day with the flu.
The police ask to see his car so she takes them to the garage, opens the door and sitting in the garage is the police car with the lights still flashing.
