I just went down to a business called Big Sandy where they sell things ranging from big screen tv's to sofa's, washers and dryers and so on...I made a major purchase for a big screen tv. The last big screen tv I got there was back in April 1995 which was a 46' Zenith. That being a little outdated and an analog tv at that I felt that the time was right for another big screen tv since the deadline for tv stations to have the HD signals ready is Feb.17, 2009. When that date comes and goes your analog tv with be almost useless unless you get a special box to receive these signals from your cable company. The tv I got will be delivered this Thursday. It's a 62" Toshiba 1080p DLP. I got that and the floor model stand (no more of those in the warehouse) for a very good deal. Anyone care to take a guess at the price for the tv and stand without tax and the 5 year warranty invloved (even though I got the 5 year warranty)?
