both inside and out...
Maybe then you would see
the very reason for my attraction
though you may not always understand it...

to reach down deep
and retrieve the very fire
burning within my soul...
Maybe then you would see
how the love that you give
fuels the very spark
that exists within...
If only I had a way
to reach to the Heavens
and capture a handful of stars
by surprise...
Maybe then you would see
the distance I'm willing to go
just to see that sparkle in your eyes...
If only I had a way
to express my love
and make you feel its warmth
completely...
Maybe then you would see
that not only does the feeling exist,
but that no words created
come close to describing it...
If only I had a way
to ensure you an eternity of happiness
and make you feel loved even more
with each setting sun...
Maybe then you would see
without a shadow of a doubt
that my heart bleeds true
and my love for you will never die...
