Im not sure there is such a thing as little bit of a jerk. But for me i will remember the nice ones, the ones that touched my heart in some way. The jerks i just block from my mind, Just like blocking them on here, and forget they ever existed. Why dwell on someone who has been a jerk to you. You stay nice you'll be remembered longer and better.

Over the last few years I have thought that it's better to be remembered as a jerk than not to be remembered and forgotten when you're nice. Now it wouldn't bother me as much as before if people did forget me since I was a nice guy because no one lives forever and what matters is the afterlife in heaven to where you will be around loved ones and happy all the time. Yes, I'm a Christian, and that's my two cents.

Nice and forgotten, hands down. Jerks have a better chance of being remembered because they inspire rage; that's not a good way to stick in someone's memory. You know how newspapers cover the plane crashes but not the smooth landings? Same concept. Nice doesn't always make good copy, but that has nothing to do with the value of being nice.
