So yesterday, a quick storm blew over and unlike a few other people, I went out to enjoy the rain a bit. I went to the park and decided to climb up a tree and rest on one of it's branches for awhile and look up at the sky while the rain is coming down. And you know... I got to wondering why most people don't enjoy that kind of weather more. Most act as if they're day is ruined by the rain itself. But when you take the time to look upward, at the sky, when it's raining and the clouds are together in that dark fashion... It seems kinda... I dunno. Poetic. A little bit beautiful as well.
Or maybe I just like rainy days. I dunno XD

I'm with you RamzalElric. I don't mind rainy days. I like to work in my garden when it's raining. It's much esier to pull weeds when it's wet or maybe just take a drive. I love to drive when it's raining.

I'm with you. I love a good, stormy day! Especially if it's warm and I can be out in it.

I hate to burst your bubble but if you and the tree were the highest point in the area during a storm, you both could have made a nice lightening rod.
A tree is one of the worse places to run under during a storm to get out of the rain!
Just letting you know because I wouldn't want anyone to pick up on that idea, the next time a storm blows their way!

Actually, I'm perfectly aware of the risks of the tree and myself becoming charcoal. I did take that into thought and also, I took into account that the park was actually was slopped downward from the main street, lowering the chances of a bolt of lighting hitting me (Other then the chances of getting hit by lighting are around two million to one). Don't worry, I take all chances into account :P

I like to simplify dealing with odds on anything! To me, the chances of any one thing happening are 50/50- it either happens or it doesn't! Keeps things much easier and in the case of lottos, makes me feel much less insignificant when talking about 12,000,000 to 1 odds for my buck! But then, that's just me!
