Honestly, if the man had brain cancer (Glioblastoma) and lived for 8 months with NO treatment... it's a fragging miracle and a testament to both his strength and his courage. So what he said was meaningless... if you're going to die anyway it is easy to make comments such:
"Rasta no abide amputation. I don't allow a man to be dismantled. ” As for his strength and courage... you wouldn't be saying what you have if he died the following day... it's all relative... and as much as I love his music you have to admit that in some small wall, probably a big way, his unfounded belief contributed to his death... his death came many years before he was diagnosed with anything... he chose to take that road and the Ambush in the Night he sang about... eventually claimed him.
