Remember when you were a kid and you played a game of some sort and you missed, the first thing most did was yell "do over. That one didn't count."
So now that you are an adult, if you could go back in time and do one thing over in your life, hoping for a different outcome, would you? If so, what would it be?

of course. it'll take me twenty years of therapy to be able to tell you them; and, if it's Only one, it'll take another ten years therapy to be able to decide. but of course.

If I did something over It would change
who and what I am now. I may not be a good
guy or write poetry.

About the only thing I regret is dropping out of high school and getting my GED...but I wouldn't do it over cuz then all the other stuff I've done in my life would be different and I wouldn't be where I am today. I wouldn't do this over for anything in the world!

I think my biggest regret is that I didn't go to college right out of high school. I had the skills and knowledge to do well but I never felt like it was an option available to me. Yeah, I'd do it over again. Would probably change a lot of things in my life and I don't know if that would be for the better or not.

I'd get the band back together....

Well I wouldn't have gotten married and got out of the Air Force, I would have stayed in until I retired.

I wouldn't have said no all those years ago!! Yes I would be in a different place, but I'm pretty sure the journey there would have been a much better one!

Let me thing about this a few minutes....

I could go back and wipe out all of the abuse... The problem is that if I wipe out the abusive relationships then I wipe out my entire LIFE between May of 1964 and April of 2005. Hmmm... Ramifications of doing that... I wouldn't be alive, I wouldn't have children, I wouldn't have lived, laughed and loved... obviously not a "good" choice.

I could wipe out the abusive ex... But then I also wipe out 2 people who are VERY special to me. Matched pair of 13 year olds.

I could wipe out the last man that I was involved seriously with... but I would also be wiping out of existence my youngest little angel... that doesn't work for me.

I might could keep this up all afternoon and into the night BUT my point here is that no matter what I choose to "do over" the reality is that something or someone that I love would no longer be part of my life... Therefore I am choosing to not change a damn thing about the past.

I agree with my sweet self I would have went on to college after high school instead of waiting till my 40's lol wow imagine a real job outta the restaurant??

Nope, wouldn't change a thing. There are a lot of things i've done that i regret, however if i went back and changed those things i wouldn't be who i am today.
