It has come to my attention recently that some of the pics on this site are not real, that in itself does not surprise me in the least, however i just read a blog where someone stole pics of another user and posted them as their own. My question is how can you tell if a picture is genuine? My other question is, if your purpose for being on this site is to find a partner, isn't the best course of action to be honest about your appearance? If you are hoping to meet up with another person on this site, don't you think they are going to know the difference? I'd like to think i'm a semi-intelligent person, and would know if i see you, or your dick in person that it's nowhere near what is in your picture. This bothers me, I guess because i believe in truth in advertising. I certainly don't want some guy thinking i'm something i'm not, so if you're not going to post pictures of yourself, why bother posting any at all????? Ok, done ranting for today, lol.

Ahhh... there is the misunderstanding! After neing on here for several years, I have come to the (somewhat jaded) conclusion that most on this site do NOT want an in-person relationship... thuds they can repreent themselves as anything they want. As far as determining which pics are real and which are not, you can't! In the "real world", when you get a digital pic firsthand, you can look at certain information embedded in the picture itself to determine its authenticity... called EXIF data, You can even tell from that if the picture has been digitally modified (sometimes), but here, forget it. The pics can be stolen, scanned in from a magazine, anything. Unfortunately, the operators of this site do little to validate the source of pictures which means, in the case of copyrighted photos, they could be held responsible for redistribuing them Idfo you know that many large drugsore chains will not make copies of pictures it thinks are sdtolrn, for fear of being sued for copyright violations?). Plus, I wonder how many people realize that, by taking their own picures, they OWN them and have what is called an "implied" copyright, meaning that whoever steals them can be sued as well? Food for thought.

I have to agree with Romantic_fool. I go by the old saying that "if it sounds(looks) to good to be true, it probably is" If I was going to misrepresent myself, I would sure as hell pick a better looking guy to post as my pic. As far as the women go, some of these pics and profiles are models or BOTS trying to get you to go to their pay website. So if I send an email to a drop-dead gorgeous woman and she actually answers it, shes probably a BOT!!

I'll bottom line it for you. Since I'm not worried about stepping on toes. A friend of mine asked me this one question. "How do you find all the idiots on the web?" To wich he answered "you give them a place to type"

People are stupid, the smarter the tch toys get, the more we dumb ourselves down.
