It seems to take a serious incident or near life death experience to make most people realize why they should be thankful for everythig in their life. No, it doesn't have to be Thanksgiving either. I'm thankful for being alive today, having the vision to see the blue sky, flowers, beautiful sinrise and sunsets; being able to hear the birds singtheir melodious tunes; being able to walk and having wonderful people in my life that care. Take time out to enjoy all the little wonders of life that are offered to you every single day. Do something nice for a stranger, say hello, hold a door open, whatever, you'll see the smile and appreciate the small gesture!

i am thankful for just being alive....having the wonderful son , food on my table...having a job....a home....and not being in a war zone where i could be blown up at anytime..........i may not have a whole hell of a lot but what do have i have earned my self.....growing up i lost my paents one to cancer and one in a car accident.......was in 22 foster homes and 1 reform school between the age of 8 and 18..........i have been abused by foster mothers and father..and forst brothers...i have been abused by boyfriends........but i feel i have learned from all that and it has made me the person i am today.....i am a good person and a good mother...i would lay down my life for my son.......so i guess i am thankful that i am just here to tell you what i am thankful for.....my life...

Im so thankful that I have the most incredibly supportive and CLOSE family ever - we have all been blessed with good health as well, everyone has their ups and downs, but there are many more people who have it worse than I could ever imagine! Im thankful Im alive, and have what I do!
Enjoy the sunrise when you can, enjoy the sunset when you can - you never know what tomorrow will bring - so enjoy today as though it was your last!
